Equity-free Legal & GovTech accelerators
These legal tech programs take no equity, so the value is mentorship, feedback and connections rather than capital. LexLab at UC Law San Francisco runs a free ten-week hybrid accelerator with an interest in access-to-justice tools, though it has not yet posted dates for 2027. The other two are listed for reference: Duke Law Tech Lab paused its accelerator in 2022, and the LexisNexis Legal Tech Accelerator page still shows applications closed, with its newest cohort from 2020.
