Terms in plain English
BOOST invests $150,000 in each company through a post-money SAFE representing 4.5% ownership. The program runs eight weeks, delivered primarily virtually, with two mandatory in-person events in Boston: a pre-launch program on September 8-10, 2026 and a Demo Day on November 18, 2026. Expect a time commitment of at least 3 hours per week, including about 1.5 hours of scheduled programming on Tuesdays. Companies must be incorporated by program start with at least one full-time founder and a working prototype. There are no program fees beyond the equity taken through the SAFE.
Who this is actually for
Early-stage founders building technology for construction and the built environment who want capital plus direct access to Suffolk Construction as a potential customer and pilot partner. The mostly virtual format suits teams based anywhere in the US who can travel to Boston twice.
