CivStart never published startup-facing fee or equity terms for its GovTech Accelerator, and current terms are not published. The nonprofit announced in December 2025 that it is shutting down, and its website now states that its nonprofit work has concluded. The accelerator programs have ended and there is no open application. The for-profit successor, CivStart Ventures, offers government advisory and vendor discovery services rather than a cohort accelerator.
